Pray for my family

My family has suffered a horrible tragedy. I ask that you please pray for us. Our grandson Christopher, 18, his mother, his little sister Macey, and their exchange student Flavia from italy were all killed in an accident Monday afternoon on their way home from a trip to Destin, FL. Four others , two half-sisters, half brother and another exchange student were critically injured.

Though other difficult  times in my life, prayer is what has gotten me though those times. It doesn't change the situation or the circumstances, but prayer has enabled me to cope and endure. We are assured that Christopher is now with the heavenly Father and for that we are so thankful. He lived a beautiful, Christ centered life.

Ms. Sara,
I follow your blog almost everyday.
I can't imagine what you are going through, however it sounds like your grandson had a good head on his shoulders. With that said he is in a much better place. I know that doesn't take the pain away. I will pray for you and your family.

If not, this would be a good book for you and anyone else close to these people who lost their lives in this tragic accident. God be with you. May He fill you with peace and blessings. Julia in E TN

Dear Sara,
I was stunned & heartbroken when I learned of this awful tragedy. I am without words to express my sorrow at your loss of such a wonderful young man.
I can't begin to imagine the anguish the whole family is feeling. I hope you can find some Peace, knowing he is with Our Lord, now.

Consider yourself {{HUGGED}}, Honey & know that your entire family is in my prayers at this difficult time.

With deepest sympathy,
Rett

We has humans care and hate to see people in pain and search for words to comfort them. My heart is shocked and sadden by this news and I will most defiantly be lifting you and your family up before the thrown of GOD that he WILL give you all strength at this time. Your comfort is knowing these precious lives are now with our heavenly father walking and seeing things we cant begin to imagine.

GOD bless and give you all strength and grace.

Hello Sara,
This is my first visit to your site - I am so sorry for this - I know how hard it is - even with our faith - God has carried my siblings and I through a recent tragedy - and I know he will you and your family too - I believe that through your testimony of your faith in God - hope in Christ - you'll be able to help others - and that is what your grandson Christopher would want knowing what he knows now being with our LORD. Plant your feet deep in your faith - keep your trust in God - He will carry you through - will surely keep you in my prayers.

God Bless,
Kathy

I too am so very very sorry for your loss ..... What a beautiful grandson you had the honor of knowing for a short time here on earth .... Some day your spirits will meet again ....For now prayer, serious prayer needs to be on our agendas for you and yours .... GODS WORD is good always and a scripture that comes to mind is Joel 2:25 .... Read it and immerse yourself in it .... For now God be with you .
