Oh yumm! They look amazing! We live here in the Savannah, Georgia area and so Paula Deen's restaurant is a hop skip and a jump away... She is the same in person as she is on tv. Very personable.Blessings & Aloha!(trying to get some blog reading in :o)
Sara,I love Paula’s wit and delicious recipes and these toffee bars look wonderful. It’s beginning to feel like fall here in Michigan and I’m itching to play around with my bread machine. Hugs, Cathy
Love your new header, Sara!! Very cool :-)You've sparked my interest in these Toffee Bars to make me go looking for the recipe online. They sound fabulous & EASY...right up my alley. Thanks for telling me/us about them.I was auditioning fabrics for the garment bag project last night. Can't wait to get started!!!Hope you have a wonderful day today & an even better one tomorrow. Hugs,Rett
oops..forgot to answer your question on the tomatoes. I don't can them anymore, although I used to. I cook them down, strain out the skins & freeze in plastic bags for sauce throughout the winter. I also slow roast many of them with garlic & basil in olive oil & use those for pizza or tomato soup. Either way, I'm getting VERY sick of dealing with tomatoes!! I think we put in 20 plants this year & I've been picking baskets full like the one on my blog every single week. We give tons away, too. Wish you lived closer...I'd love to share some with you! Nothing like the flavor of an Ohio grown tomato!
